The Frances T. Thacher Midwifery Leadership Endowment Fund, established in 2008 by Frances & Toby Thacher, enables The A.C.N.M. Foundation, Inc. to prepare midwives as leaders and empowers midwives facing challenging clinical leadership roles, while at the same time striving to improved maternal and child health care worldwide and advancing initiatives for women and midwives with chronic physical or mental disease and disability.
